He mopped floors at a rocket company, held his employee shares through the IPO, and came out loaded as fuck. Not richer than everybody there — just rich enough to never touch another mystery puddle. Now he spends all day on X shooting the shit instead of cleaning it. The coat, chain, and watch are new. The mop is ceremonial. Fictional character. Retired mop.

He worked nights at a rocket company. Engineers argued about thrust, executives argued about valuation, and he quietly kept the place from sticking to everybody's shoes. He knew every hallway, every badge reader, and exactly which coffee machine leaked after midnight.
The company went public and his employee shares did exactly what rockets are supposed to do. A man who used to compare mop heads was suddenly comparing private banking offers. He checked the number twice, clocked out, and never cleaned another mystery puddle.
He bought the coat, the chain, and a watch heavy enough to affect local time. The coveralls stayed because tailoring is exhausting. The mop is ceremonial now. He is loaded as fuck and has people for that.
Retirement left him with money, opinions, and an irresponsible amount of screen time. Now he spends all day on X shooting the shit instead of cleaning it. He still recognizes a spill. He just no longer has to bend down.
